Lewis D. Fishberg

As retired from Dow and Union Carbide, I sometimes do not get news of past associates but I just now learned of Lew's passing. Lew was an outstanding technical mind that I had the pleasure to work with for many years, especially while I had the sales responsibility for the Rubbermaid account. His demeanor, his easy way with customers, and always having an explanation for a complex technical matter that was uncomplicated and easily understood. Lew was quiet,but the engaging smile and wry humor put everyone at ease.Our class motor pool chief,he came up with great cars for the reunion parades...and loved doing it. A talented,caring person we will all miss.

Joyce and Jennifer - what a wonderful man who traveled through life with you and who I had the honor to know. Your loving family is an inspiration to all who know you.

Worked with Lew at Union Carbide in the early 1990's. He always had a smile for everyone and a friendly greeting. A truly nice man and a real gentleman. My condolences to his family.

ALL THE WAY FROM Savannah comes a note recalling fond memories of my crib-mate and high school and college friend,with whom i sadly lost contact so many years ago.
