Not sure what to say?

Mr Lewis will always have a spot in my heart. I remember his sense of humor and his kindness.

Dear Mary and family...What can one say about Louie, except that Louie was always present with his good humor and thoughtfulness and love...I shall always treasure his presence at my wedding to Walter Herbert. He and Walter attended Charleston High School together. As I reflect on those many years of attendance at the James Island Presbyterian Church, you were always there together with your family. May God bless you during this time, as you are surrounded by your family and friends...Mary...

Mr. & Mrs. Godbold have given me such great memories from my high school years. My heart and prayers go out to the family. May our loving Lord give you peace, comfort and continued blessings as only He can. I think of "days past" each time I pass your dock in Clark Sound. I am sure Mr. Godbold is doing a little shrimping and gigging in Heaven about now. God Bless...Willie & Rhonda Freemire

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Dearest Mary,
What a wonderful life you have had together! What a wonderful husband and Father! We all will surely miss "Louie". We loved him and give thanks for his life. He surely left this world a better place.Love, Frances

Will always remember his good humor and he has a special place in my heart. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Ana Marie Alejandro

It was joyous to have met Mr. Lewis his smile made me smile. He loved his family very much.
Family, you have done an excellent job in caring for Mr. Lewis, he was a Blesed man. God Bless you! You're in my prayers .

We are sending our deepest sympathies
to the Godbold family. We have attended
James Island Presbyterian Church with
Louie and Mary when they could attend.
We also remember the wonderful oyster
roasts they had and what a great time
we had and what gracious hosts they
were. We will keep you in our thoughts
and prayers during this sad time.

Uncle Lewie will always hold a very special place in my heart. I have many wonderful memories of sharing laughter, fellowship and lots of fun with Uncle Lewie, Aunt Mary and all of our cousins on James Island. We love you all and know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Uncle Lewie was a loving Christian man and I know the heavens are rejoicing with his arrival. Just think of the reunion going on in heaven with all the family members that have gone before him!
