Not sure what to say?

Trip, Peter,& Ginger,
Your dad, my uncle "Poss", was just the most wonderful guy in the world. I always so looked forward to visiting your mom and him. It was always one of the highlites of visiting Durham. We had such a wonderful time when they came out to CA. He will be missed.

As one of Lew's many Troup 27, Durham, Ct. Scoutmasters, I will never forget him. He was a fellow Eagle Scout, a good friend and a solid mentor. Sincerely, David C. Gould

Lew, Sorry to read of your father's passing. I can see from his obituary that he did have a long and productive life. May God bless your family and give you comfort in the coming days.

Lou was a very special person who always had a smiling hello. My wife got to know his wife Alma soon after we moved here in 1960 as her name was also Alma. Peace to the entire Hinman family.

Lew was an awesome guy; always helpful, always cheerful. He will be greatly missed.

My condolences to the family. It's heartwarming to read that Mr. Hinman was a man of "special mightiness" (Psalms 90:10)living into his nineties. May God and memories of your loved one comfort you.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Lew will be greatly be missed in this small community , but what memories he has left us are priceless. He has touched my heart.

We are so very sorry to hear of your loss. May God Bless and give you all comfort.
