DEAR JONES FAMILY:

Thank you for all the good memories. I always enjoyed talking with "Buzz", from my pre police days and will on was on the Chicago Police Department. "Buzz" was a great guy.
George H. Myers

I worked for him twice and each time my respect and admiration grew. He was a man who easily shared his experiences and knowledge with all. He was a man of great integrity and commitment to people. Law enforcement has lost a leader.
Bob Dart
Commander (ret)
Chicago Police Department

Dear Mrs.Jones & Family, sorry for loss. You are in are prayers.

Dear Jones Family,
We are sorry to hear about Mr. Jones. I can remember listening to all of his wild stories about the war and about being a police officer as 20 of us St. Rita kids sat around the kitchen table on Mozart while Mrs. Jones cooked breakfast for all of us. I know he'll be remembered fondly by many people. Your family is in my prayers.

I worked for a short period of time with Lt Jones at 1121 S. State. I found him to be a nice man with a great sense of humor. My condolences to the Jones family.
Bob Healy, Retired Lieutenant, CPD

The Jones Family,
I first met Lewis Jones when I was a rookie on the C.P.D. in 1968 at the 021st District. I would see and talk to Lewis Jones throughout my career on the C.P.D.. I will think about him often and he will be in our prayers. Deepest sympathy to the Jones fmily. Sincerely,
