Not sure what to say?

We met Lewis through his Dad who was our neighbor here in Birmingham. Lewis was very proud of his Dad's service, as we were. Lewis had such an outgoing personality and an ever-present smile. He never met a stranger. He had a generous, loving heart. A genuinely kind and gentle soul. One of the good guys. We were fortunate to be included in his large collection of friends and will miss him. Ronnie and Jan

I truly loved the trip to DC with my brother and Louie. We buried his father at Arlington Cemetery which was incredible and humbling. We also spent time with Louie ' s father's best friend. What incredible men these were. We went to the Smithsonian Museum of flight and had an incredible time. This was just one of so many things we did with our dear friend Louie. Nascar races, football games ,Angels games ,ect. My memories of Louie are many and precious. I love you and miss you my brother.

So many memories that I'll have for a lifetime to call on daily from the 39-years of friendship we shared. I miss you dearly Lew-Lew. Hard to believe I won't hear you say Tom-Tommy no more, but it will always echo. Every Andy Griffith episode I see and everything that passes my way daily, will always bring you to mind old friend. Until we meet next time... sonny boy... cheers.
