Lewis C. Lipson M.D.

As President of Sibley Memorial Hospital I was privileged to work with Dr. Lipson for many years. He was a wonderful man and a gifted physician. He helped many people. We were blessed to have Lou Lipson as a member of our Medical Staff.

As a classmate at Harvard I regret not looking him up in Charlottesville, my hometown.

Dr Lewis Lipson was my heart doctor for 26 years he he put my first stent in after my first heart attack and then five more after that he was a very knowledgeable and a great doctor I will truly miss him James Heflin

Dr. Lipson was my mother's cardiologist after she suffered a mild heart attack in 2015 and he was one of the best physician's she ever had. He was so kind, patient and thorough. My family and I will always appreciate the care he provided to my mother. He will be truly missed. My sincere condolences to Dr. Lipson's family.

I had the privilege of working with Dr. Lipson as President/CEO of Sibley Memorial Hospital. He was a talented, dedicated physician, beloved by his patients and staff. He was a scholar and a gentleman. He was highly respected by his peers. Dr. Lipson made this community a better place to live. All of our lives were enhanced because of our association with Dr. Lipson.

Dr. Lipson was always such a kind and gentle soul to his patients and the students during rounds. He always smiled and had a pep in his step as he walked through 4Central. So sad to see you go, but your job of caring for hearts had been well done! Take your rest, Dr. Lipson, an Earth Angel...you´ve earned it. <3

Dr. Lipson was a gifted and committed cardiologist who was instrumental in developing cardiac services at Sibley Memorial Hospital in DC. May he rest in peace and may his family find comfort in his memory.
