Not sure what to say?

Sadly I am just seeing this news today. As I have been reflecting these last few years I was looking high and low to find the educator who opens my eyes. If it would not have been for this great man... He taught me to work harder, told me the importance of dressing professionally, and the love of history. I researched him for a paper in High school then lost touch. As I am not teaching I think of him his firm but patient, just but fair and funny when allowed ways he taught. I hope I can one...

My deepest condolences on your loss of this very special man. Not too many people remain such a strong influence on young people's lives, but he truly was a major influence in mine. His strength and compassion at Edgewood High were second to none. 60's song "To Sir With Love" by Lulu truly always touched my heart, because it could have been written for him. He led me through the idiocy of my teen years and inspired me to be a better and more loving woman. God Bless you always, Mr...

Mr. Marshall was a wonderful man, as I remember him years ago when he was School Vice Principle at Elementary I attended back in the 70's. My deepest condolences to the family.

Mr. Marshall was a good man. I was at school(Edgewood) I had sprung my ankle and I could not walk. He actually gave me a ride home. He blew the horn at every intersection. I asked why he said I have to make sure I get you home safe.
God truly wanted a good man.

RIP Mr. MARSHALL Thanks for your wisdom and your guidance.

Coach Marshall had a big impact on my life while at Edgewood H. S. between 1968 & 1972. I did not realize just how much till later in life as I matured. A good down to earth educater . RIP Mr Marshall.

"The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear. The Lord is the strength of my life of whom shall I be afraid". Psalms 27:1
Our prayers and condolences are with you and your family.

Coach Marshall was a firm yet great P.E. coach who was fair to everyone. He made gym class fun at Rhodes Jr. High School. GOD BLESS his wife and family during this time of sorrow.

Mr Marshall, I will always remember the love you and juretta gave me when I was in Vietnam during my years in the US Navy.We had lots of good times at your home in Kilgore in the 60's. Rest in peace friend. Malcolm( M.J)
