Dear Family of Lewis Munk,
Some people leave lasting impressions on others without seeming to work at it. Lewis Munk was such a person. He was respectful, kind, and low-key in his approach. He was advisor to the staff of the "Grizzly" (school newspaper) at Montpelier High School and we learned so much from him. He is in my personal Hall of Fame. Our dearly loved Mr. Munk was my life-long mentor and cheering section! Even in recent years, kind and encouraging words from him lifted my life. His influence for good reaches beyond his teaching and his mortal life into the eternities. We will mourn with you, knowing that your loss of this wonderful man„your father„is deep, and trusting that warm comfort will be with you. Munk Family: Everyone loved your dad. I'm sure he taught us the most of any teacher at Bear Lake High and Montpelier High. Our hearts are with you. What a wonderful wonderful man. He showed us all how to live.
