Never forgotten....

The professors at the University of Arkansas told Lewis "Buddy" Nordan to forget his dreams of being a successful writing and to get a job managing a Dairy Queen. Buddy kept right on truckin'. I have been inspired for many years by his tenacious refusal to give up and concede defeat.

A group of us sat drinking coffee together at the University of Arkansas, and that crew included Buddy. In good times and hard times, we could count on Buddy for a wisecrack, a laugh, and a comforting...

Thank you all for your kind words and loving memories. My father was dearly loved and will be deeply missed. He was a wonderful man and a great father.
