Not sure what to say?

Lewis was an instructor at BSC, who became an employer when I worked as a student at the computer center then as an instructor and computer programmer following graduation, then became a close friend who traveled to New Jersey to serve as a groomsman when I married Judith Bremec. When he decided to leave B-SC to go to graduate school full-time, he called me to see if I was interested in applying for his position at B-SC where I spent 15 years and was able to welcome him back as a faculty...

His calm yet pointed challenge: "Ms. Cameron, please explain the...

I knew Lewis many years ago as a childhood neighbor who who later joined my parents in the BSC family. His kindness and generosity to others was unmistakable.

I remember Dr. Patterson fondly. He was kind, professional, and had the gift of making a very new and intimidating subject understandable.

I became acquainted with Lewis at the downtown YMCA as he was really into physical fitness being a lifelong runner .We had a great group of runners that put in many miles together over many years . Very sorry to hear of his passing. My deepest condolences to his family and friends... Jerry Topazi

Please accept my condolences. I really enjoyed having Professor Patterson in two computer classes in the mid 70s. He was always kind and supportive as we felt our way through our early introductions to computing

I only knew Dr. Patterson for about a year, but in that short time, I was impressed with his kindness and generosity. He was an amazing human being, and he will be greatly missed.
