I´m so without words, I live in Scottsville and am just now finding out about this. LE was a old and dear friend all the way back to when he and Hollis Lumpkin were still in high School. Bubbles is one of the finest Moms I know and his father was a card. Always with a joke and a wet cigar. As a child I enjoyed spending time at his exxon station listening to the old guys spin their tails of adventure. I believe those tails led LE to change and spend his life in the great outdoors. The members and supporters of the Albemarle High School Alumni Association were very sorry to hear about Mr. Rhodes´ passing. It is always sad to lose a member of the Albemarle family, and we offer our condolences to his family and friends.

This is tough to set here and do with a sad heart. L.E. and I had some great times together hunting & fishing, even cutting Christmas trees together! You will be very much missed my brother!!
