Not sure what to say?

It was our distinct pleasure & honor to become "neighbor friends" with Lew & Audrey @ their beach house. We always looked forward to seeing them arrive & 1 of the first things Lew did was fly the flag for the duration of their stay. We are extremely saddened to hear that Lew is gone. We love you both very much!

Audrey. I am sorry to be so late in sending my sympathy. Not knowing where you now live, I resorted to the guest book. So many memories flooded my old mind reading Lew's obit. Always cheerful thoughts of this great guy you were so fortunate to spend your married life with. We miss Fred. Maybe he...

I was about 15 years behind Mr. Rumpakis in the Marines and did not know him, but I still remember how highly in regard those who fought in the "Frozen Chosin" were held by all Marines. They were Few, and they had every right to be Proud. Semper Fi

Ellen and I were proud to know and work with Lew.

I was so sorry to hear about Lew's death. He is in our prayers. Audrey, I do not have a current phone number for you. If you wish to contact me my e-mail address is [email protected]. Gayle also sends her condolences.

You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I had the privilege of working with Lew at Freightliner in the 1980s. My heart felt condolences to his family. I was fortunate to chat with him at Willamette Nation Cemetery a few years ago, on Memorial Day & my daughter, a Sgt in the Marines was able to meet him.
RIP Lew & Semper Fi
