LEWIS STOCKMAN

Lew and I practiced law together at Hart & Hume for 22 years. He and I and our families were close. Then I left the firm, and, as happens far too often, we drifted apart. Lew was smart and funny and a good lawyer. I regret that we did not remain close. I send my very best to Danielle, to his three terrific kids and to his grandchildren whom I never got to know. I am saddened and offer my sincere condolences to Danielle, of whom Lew often spoke lovingly, and their family. He was a rare lawyer who dispensed competence and mirth in equal measures.
