Dear Gartner-Dinnerstein family, Words may not suffice to express the heartfelt sorrow that I feel for the passing of your mother. Lia was my department supervisor from 2005 to 2020. Dear Gartner-Dinnerstein family, My heart goes to to you. I was lucky enough to be "reunited" with Lia at the New School, where we were colleagues: she was in charge of all our architecture; I'm a professor. We met for lunch sometimes at her favorite little French restaurant on 13th St., and I so enjoyed those lunches. She was so kind, so frank, so full of good sense. I miss her very much! --Elizabeth Kendall
