As a new Christian, I learned to pray at Liesbeth's kitchen table. Liesbeth's prayers supported my husband and I these sixty for years. Liesbeth's prayers carried many, many missionaries serving God on many foreign fields.
Liesbeth's and Martin's lives were a splendid demonstration of what it means to be a Christian. My Art and I have been blessed for knowing this wonderful woman.

Liesbeth was MY MOTHER! When I was a child, Mom read to me from the Egermeier's Bible Story Book every night and then prayed with me. I look forward to being with Mom forever in heaven, and I'm so happy that she now has her vision back, which she had lost...

I didn't know Liesbeth and I haven't met Evelyn, but I heard much about a wonderful family from two friends who do not know each other. Mary Holcomb often spoke of the wonderful woman that she helped take care of. Alice Partridge spoke of a great friend. What a wonderful tribute to a family that people speak of them with love and inspiration. What a tribute that even strangers take inspiration from an exemplary life.

My family lived next door to the Loeschers on Dana Street in the 1930s, and though my memories of those days are sketchy, I do remember Evelyn and Ronnie's mother as a generous, caring woman of great faith. Her hospitality included us kids on the street! You all must be very grateful to have had this fine woman with you for all these years.
