Not sure what to say?

My condolences to your family. She was one of my favorite teachers at MHS. I think of her fondly and am so sad to hear of her passing.
With Sympathy,
Kara Carpenter Elliott (Ute)

Our teaching careers at Maumee High School overlapped until Liga retired. She was a beacon of warmth and dignity. I still giggle at the quick wit and touch of mischief that sometimes poured through her advise and interpretation of events. Too few people are as ready to laugh from a place of love. May God bless her. Heartfelt condolences, Kristen Miller

Frau Daiga was my German teacher at Maumee from 1987 through 1989. She was a wonderful teacher, I have thought of her often over the years. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Frau Daiga was my German teacher for four years at Maumee High School. I learned so much from her and went on to spend some time living in Germany and Austria and becoming fluent in German. I am delighted to hear she discovered a passion and talent for painting in her retirement. I remember her fondly. My condolences to her loved ones.

Sending my thoughts and prayers to your family. Frau Daiga was my German teacher at Bowsher from 1980-81. She was truly one of a kind -- loving, gentle, and such a joyous spirit.

Vielen Dank, Frau Daiga, für Ihre Anleitung und Freundlichkeit.

Vicki and I are sad to hear of your loss-our prayers are with you

Positive thoughts for Frau Diaga's family. She was my German teacher for my freshman and senior yrs at Bowsher High. She inspired my love for the German culture that lives to this day. Danke

I first met Liga when she was first hired to teach German part-time in Maumee. We shared an art classroom where she taught in the morning and I taught French when I arrived from teaching at the middle school half way through the day. She was a wonderful colleague and I enjoyed teaching many years with her on staff until she retired.

So sorry to hear of Liga's passing. I was glad I connected with her briefly just a couple of weeks ago. Our family sends our condolences to the entire Daiga clan.
