Lila Jean Roach

I have never met a woman with more energy and personality than Grandma Lila. She was a wonderful woman who did anything she could to help whoever was in need. I will miss her not just for her amazing huckleberry pancakes but for her smile and loving ways. I know everyone that met Lila remembers her loving additude towards everyone and everything. I will miss her more than words will ever express.

Dear Bud,
Our family all loved Lila very much. The kids and I enjoyed visiting Cascade and going to the hot springs. We especially loved Lila's wonderful salads she made from your beautiful garden. She added something special to our lives and will always be remembered for her quick wit, wonderful sense of humor and her unending generosity and love.

It is with a heavy heart I send condolences to you and your family. For several years Brooke and I experienced the generosity, loving heart and energy that was Lila, and we are better for it. As hundreds of memories flow through my mind, one of my favorite is that of sharing the view from the front deck on a warm summer evening, just watching the lake and the sun set. Please know that I am with you in spirit this day. May you find comfort in loving memories and support of family...
