As I attended Lila´s service yesterday, I was impressed by the number of old friends that had packed the church. I thought how many decades back some of these relationships went , and I was amazed. We lost another big star .I Lila was the epitome of class intellectually .She was eager to improve whatever she knew.....she and I spoke French together often,she appreciated music and supported Iris and the Symphony.indeed dinners at her place were always a pleasure for the palate ,the conversation stimulating for the mind.
