My sister, Marie, and I just want to say how sorry we are for your loss. Your mother was a very lovely lady, and will always be remembered by us.

Irene, We are so sorry for your loss. Your mother was such a wonderful person and you took such good care of her. I am so glad I was able to meet her.

Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you during this time of loss. It is always difficult to lose your mom, no matter what your age, especially one as dear and sweet as Lila. Childhood memories of growing up on Chelsea Road bring fondest memories of Mrs.Walbridge sharing her joy with all the neighborhood children - especially her ice cream and saltines. May you be blessed with the joy that comes from such happy memories.

Lila and her sister Janice, and their respective husbands, Lawrence and Donald, were welcoming hosts to their young shirt-tail cousin from Minnesota (me) twice in the 1980's. On both occasions my companions and I were driven around the county and shown the country cemetery where our common ancestors were buried generations ago. It was a thrill and their hospitality was memorable. I enjoyed a Christmas card correspondence with Lila for many years, and always appreciated her warmth and...

Lila was one of the loveliest ladies we have known. She touched so many lives with her sweet and gentle ways.
