LILI YURIKO TOKUDA

We are visiting Los Angeles where I remember visiting Lili at the Getty. She gave us the grand tour then spread out a picnic of bentos for us on the museum grounds. We were overwhelmed with this gesture of generosity. I think of her always when I imagine my favorite things!

To my three Tokuda brothers please know that my heart is with you and your families at this time of immense grief . Lili was like a second mom to all the boys in our West L.A neighborhood ,dispensing love and kindness to all in need and settling all our mini disputes with the wisdom of Solomon. I feel especially fortunate that the 3 of you and your parents always treated me like a member of your family . I know that the 3 of you will support each other at this time of your deepest sorrow...

Lili will always be in my thoughts for the rest of my life. I remember her and Tadd for always being so wonderful and the most beautiful people you could imagine in every way. I feel so fortunate to have met Terry in high school and then Tlaloc and Randy and of course Lily and Tadd and to have always experienced the friendship and love and feeling of being part of the family for all these years.
