Lillian Ruth "Lil" Conley

My first job while still in high school was working as a nurse's aide at Sunnyfield Nursing Home in 1983, which was owned by the Conleys for many years. I will never forget the kind and caring nature of Mrs. Conley and the sense of humor of Mr. Conley. I hold many fond memories of my time working there and the two of them were a pleasure to work for, inspiring me to become a nurse. During the 1950´s, the Conley family was a mainstay of Cranbury and at the top of the "Who´s Who" list in the northern part of town. My family was approximately the same age as the Conley´s. As kids, we shared with them many adventures about town while growing up in Cranbury. Like us, the Conley´s were high energy, great fun, and an essential part of the community.
