I cannot believe that it is almost a year since you left us. It truly feels like yesterday. I still miss you everyday, and feel you around me once in a while. I hope you are at peace and able to enjoy yourself in Heaven with our other loved ones. I hope you had a lovely greeting and you were reunited with all those people and pets that were stolen from you (and us) too soon. I hope you were able to greet my Daddy and make him feel at home. I hope you know we visited your grave on every...

Dear Nanny, The holidays are approaching us and we still have holes in our hearts. I know that you're guiding us through difficult times that are ahead for us. We love you and miss you so very much.

The holidays are coming so quickly and it will not be the same without you here to celebrate them. Oh how you loved your Thanksgiving dinner and your Christmas presents. You got so much joy out of watching the kids open their gifts and fawning over the things we bought for you.

I hope that you are in heaven and can enjoy the holidays with the people that were stolen from us too quickly. We miss you so very much.

I don't know if I can ever watch the mummer's days parade...

I havent seen Nan in years, but I remember how Lisa and I used to get her riled up. Especially anything to do with the English. She had a quick wit and could make people laugh. She will be missed.

Even though Nan wasn't my real Grandmother she was very dear to me. I remember when me and Lisa took her in the pool quite a few summers ago. She had the biggest and brightest smile on her face and loved every minute of it. I will never ever forget how happy that made her. I loved her and will miss her dearly.

Love,

Mibbs

A wonderful memory of my great friend Lisa's nan was her exuberant smile when she greeted me followed by a big wave.

Lillian Early was my Nanny (Grandmother) and she was truly one of my favorite people in this world. I am enclosing the Eulogy I wrote for her. Thank you for taking time to share and possibly learn more about this wonderful woman.
Lillian Early was an elegant, charming, lovely, and gentle woman. She was kind and sweet. She was very mannerly and lady like. She was a lovely singer. She had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. She was an excellent story and joke teller. She lived her...
