Not sure what to say?

I only just found out about Lil's passing. I am deeply heartbroken. I grew up in a chaotic home and she was my angel at Fred A. Smith. She never ceased to encourage me to be the best I could. I was always hoping to one day get in touch with her to give her my thanks for her mentorship during my early years. My condolences go to her family. She was an extremely special person that helped influence my life for the better. David Barnett

Missing you, Lil. May you rest in peace forever in angelic arms.

We sure will miss Ms. Lil. She was a great neighbor to us at Talman Ct. She had such a big heart.

I hope you are happy to be reunited with John in heaven. RIP Ms. Lil.

Love,

I so enjoyed knowing Lillian in high school. We were in youth group together at First United Methodist Church and enjoyed hanging out at Gardner Acres Swim Club that first summer it opened. My sincere sympathy to her family and friends.

Dear, Sweet Lil: We've shared a lot these last 4 1/2 years. I already miss you so much, but I'm sure that you are happy with our Lord and with John. (Please say "hi" to Bob for me.)

It was my joy and privilege to know Lil Earhardt. She was a gem among women and a blessing to her husband John who she now joins in heavenly abide. I send my loving thoughts to her family and a scrunch for dear O.J.!

Lillian and I went to Ashley together along with Sharon Jackson. We all lived in Gardner Park and were very good friends all through high school. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. God bless!

When we remember Lil we will think of the kindness she expressed towards everyone and her delight in children. A phrase of a hymn came to mind as I was thinking of her this morning: "O perfect Life, in Thy completeness held, None can beyond Thy omnipresence stray...." And that's true of Lil.
