On the one year anniversary of your homegoing - thinking about your smile, gentle ways, gorgeous silver "crown", even your smooth skin. Remembering all the things I miss, the times we spent talking on the phone, sitting together, trips to Va Beach, Myrtle Beach, Poconos..the day "trips" to Roses, the Pottery, lunch at Sisters- so many great times and great memories. Listening to you sing the songs of your childhood, talk about your mom, talk about your life. I miss it all! But I thank God...

October 31 will always bring memories for me. Praying that the hurt of that day and the days that followed will be replaced by happier memories of times spent with you. We spent so many good times together, going places, doing things, just talking on the phone...so I draw from those and from the Joy of the Lord to get through this day and those that follow. Began the day by trying to celebrate it as the day of preparation for your transition to eternity. Still very hard. I love and miss...
