I was employed by Mrs. Gregory as a care giver on several occasions, having being referred by my sister. I was amazed at Mrs. Gregory sharpness and her often dry humor. Though I did not get a chance to visit her I will miss hearing the funny things she had to say.

My mother, Lucy Goss Herbert (originally from Decatur) and Lillian were lifelong friends who kept in touch by mail and phone until Mother's death in 2003. I always enjoyed reading Lillian's letters to Mother and recall their lengthy phone conversations. Lillian was a delightful lady who will be missed by many.
