HAWK, Lillian A. - Of Flint, age 90, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at her residence.


Funeral service will be held 11am Monday, June 28, 2021 at the Our Risen Lord Lutheran Church, 4040 Lapeer Road, Burton,


Pastor Susan Lidums officiating.


Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.


Visitation 1-8pm Sunday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. Visitation 10am Monday at church until the time of the service.


Lillian was born in Flint, Michigan on September 2, 1930, the daughter of the late Clarence and Eva (Schultz) Haber. Lillian was a member of Our Risen Lord Lutheran Church. She enjoyed casino trips, bowling, shopping with her friends, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.


Surviving are children, Gary and wife Lorrie, Mark, and Lori and husband Ron Sherrer;


7 grandchildren, Aaron, Jason, Jennifer, Kristin, Kyle, Ronnie and Morgan;


great-grandchildren, Emily, Lilly and Jackson;


and many other family members and friends.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald and daughter-in-law, Sue.

I first met Lillian when she started working at Buick Motor Division. Her address was on Campton Circle and she said no one knows where that is. I told her we owned the vacant lot next door. That was the beginning of our friendship. We later built our house at 4431 Hillcrest Circle. Many memories are treasured of the years we were friends.
