Not sure what to say?

Our hearts are with you in love and sympathy. May God who does all things well be your comforter and your keeper during your bereavement.

There are so many great things I can say about you, some I regret not saying to you personally before you passed. Ms. Hope has been one of the most involved teachers I have ever had in my life. I looked at her as a second mother. She was dedicated, not to her job, but to each individual that she taught to make sure that we all got the best that Mertz Elm. and she could offer. Ms. Hope was my 5th grade teacher but she kept in touch and followed my educational career through high school and on...

I was so sorry to hear of the death of Ann Hope, who took such great care of my friend(my Federated Club sister), Mrs. Zeola Hope. My prayers are with the entire family.

I was a 5th grade student of Ms. Hope's in 1992. I can remember the day that I found out that I was going to be in her class. I was so happy because I had been looking forward to being her student since I was in kindergarten at Mertz. The influence that she had on me and other students is unexplainable. Every student in every grade knew exactly who she was--even if she never taught them. Her presence was always known, felt, loved and now it will be be missed.

I will never forget you Ms. Hope. You are my absolute favorite teacher of all time!! I remember when you had a conference with my daddy because my grades were slipping and I had to be taken off of the safety patrol. And I used to laugh everytime you told someone to jump if they were feeling froggy. But, my favorite line was, "your eyes, may shine, your teeth may grit, but none of this food you'll ever get." I use that one til this day. I think about you everytime I'm in the produce section,...
