Went home with her Lord on Tuesday, July 05, 2016, at Cartwright Hospice Residence; age 87 years. Lillian Stark was born on June 21, 1929, in Bach, MI to the late Carl and Mary Stark. She was married to Howard Irion who predeceased her in 1990. Lillian worked for the Frankenmuth School District as a bus driver for 23 years. She was a very active member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, many of its committees and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.


 


Surviving are 3 son’s: Mike Irion, David Irion, and James Irion, all from Frankenmuth; 4 grandchildren: Kara (Justin) Varghese, Jennifer Irion, Heather (Chris) Rappley, Shane Irion; 3 great grandchildren: Paige, Melanie, Mallory Varghese; brothers, Herbert Stark of Pigeon, Michigan, Arthur (Jeannie) Stark of Hastings, Nebraska, and many nieces and nephews.


 


Lillian was predeceased by a son, Steven Irion and 10 brothers and sisters.


 


Funeral services will take place Friday, July 8, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 1200 E. Genesee, Frankenmuth, MI.  Rev. Jeff Luplow will officiate with burial in St. John’s Cemetery.  Lillian’s family will receive visitors at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.  Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. John’s Lutheran Church.
