Not sure what to say?

Although I was not able to spend much time in her company, it was wonderful being able to meet with her and other family members in Edenton, NC. We spent an afternoon discussing genealogy. She was a remarkable lady. (Ernestine's Daughter)

I will always remember "Gammy" with a smile. She opened her heart to me and to my children as her own and we loved her as though we knew her our entire life. She was above all a friend to me as we shared so much about our lives with one another. I am so thankful for having had the opportunity to be close to her. Her 104th Birthday will always remain special to me. She asked me if it was Saturday and I told her it was and it was her Birthday. To that she smiled and asked me how the...

Mom..You are to me, not my Mother
in law, but my mother. Having been
with you since I was 15 yrs old, makes it so. I will always remember
your love for me, and cherish all the
other memories.

My dear Aunt Lillian, the one to help me feel a touch of my own mother's "hands". I will forever treasure every moment spent with her, be grateful to her for all the family treasured history memories, her deep & special love, I know she had for me, & for "just being there, at all times".

Carlyn, Ken, & my dear relatives, we will grieve together for now, but we will find laughter in the days & years ahead as we reminisce & share our special times together w/this amazing women. I will...

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

I am very sorry to hear about Mrs McCants passing. I know she lived a very full life and was adored by her family. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Grandma,
We love you & we will miss you. Our family will not be the same without you. Rest in peace.
Love,
Matthew

I've always known her as "Mom", and she has always been a wonderful grandmother and the center of the family. Mom always devoted her life to family and to caring for others. As her former pastor, Ted David, said "She lived every day of her life to the fullest". I have no doubt that she still will. She was determined to reach her 104th birthday and made that known at a celebration in her room last Saturday. May her memory live always.
