She was active in the Esther Class at First United Methodist Church in Huntsville. She retired after 35 years of teaching elementary school in Huntsville....

Lillian Pullen was a very dear lady. She always remembered me, called me "my little Carol", and sent me Christmas cards. I am only sorry for the children of today who won't benefit by having a teacher like Lillian. She will be missed.
