Not sure what to say?

I am just learning of Lillian's passing! I just tried calling the number I have for her and it rang and rang, which made me do an internet search to see if she had passed. She was a dear neighbor for many years and just a truly wonderful person. She will be missed.

I felt like I was losing my own mother all over again when Lilian died. How many nights did we stay up talking and how much fun we had. I used to take her ballroom dancing with me, she already in her 90s and better than most of the people there. Right to the end she still remain her smart mind and great sense of humor. I miss her.

Lil was fabulous, an inspiration. I still consider taking up flamenco dancing, as she did when she was about my age, I think. She was a good friend to my mom, Ernie Rubin, and her sister, Sal Simpson. And what a great laugh. Lillian Stern has left a mark of goodness, joie de vivre and a passion for justice in this world. I am grateful for her life.
