Not sure what to say?

I agree with what the other past students say about Miss Wahab. I had her for a 6th grade teacher in 1964-65. She introduced us to so much literature and civics. She introduced us to vocabulary beyond what a regular class would have received. She shared many life experiences to enhance history. I remember her reading Ulysses to us. Other poetry i remember...Flanders Field, Footprints in the Sand of Time, I Shot an Arrow, just to name a few. First learned about concentration camps and WWll in...

My 6th grade teacher at Granby Elementary, Miss Wahab was the most demanding teacher I ever had, and she taught me the most. Behind that stately stern appearance was a committed teacher who was not satisfied until she got the best from everyone. I remember how much she enjoyed reading poetry and thanks to her, I do still remember a few poems from her class that I can recite.
I'm so sorry for your loss.

I will always remember this lady, an excellent teacher. 50 + years ago. My sympathy to the family.

Ms. Wahab was my 7th grade teacher at Granby and was a demanding teacher who always made us up our expectations of ourselves in the classroom. When i reflect back on her i can see that she was what the finest of educators should be. My sympathies go out to her family and friends at this time of loss.

Miss Wahab was my 6th grade teacher at Granby Elementary School in 1953. She was a great teacher and a lovely lady. We recently had our 50th Granby High School reunion and her name came up more than once as we reminisced.
