Lillie Marie Wills Butler

Marie was my slightly older cousin and was a lot of fun during our growing up years. She and I had great fun riding horses and exploring Wiskey Creek. I have great memories of Marie and really liked her choice of husband.

A special memory I have of Marie is visiting her as a new mom and realizing my daughter needed a diaper change but I had nothing with me. Marie found a cloth diaper and pins and helped me put it on and fasten it. Her kind smile put me at ease. She was a blessing to all who knew her. If the love we see in her children reflects the love this dear lady harbored, I can say unequivocally, "she was amazing -" and I have only met her son, Mike. Hugs to the family, Mike.

I never met Mrs. Butler but have known her son Mike all my life. I pray for the whole family and give thanks to God for being the person she was to her family all her life.
