Lilly was a woman of towering magnitude. It was impossible not to be drawn into the trajectory of her affection and humor. She lived mightily and loved abundantly. We will never be the same, having known her, and we will always miss her -- though every thought of Lilly brings a smile.

She was my better-than-a-grandmother she was my friend she was a warm smile and a wonderful conversation....
