I was fortunate over thirty years ago to have Lily orient me to our new neighborhood in San Mateo after moving from the City. She hosted me at a luncheon to introduce me and also took time to give me directions around the area. She continued to be a good friend and always demonstrated concern for our family. Her dinner parties were legend and filled with love, laughter and gourmet cuisine. Her daughter was one of few qualified to babysit our children because she had been taught by Lily all...
