Lily Fern Clowers, 74, of Searcy, passed away, Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at her residence. She was born February 23, 1941 in McRae, Arkansas to the late Lawrence and Alma (Robinson) Shannon. Lily was a member of Airport Loop Church of Christ. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was loved by all who knew her and will be dearly missed. Lily is survived by two sons, David Clowers of Searcy and Rodney Clowers (Ginger) of Searcy; two daughters, Sandy Cooper (Ron) of Jacksonville, Arkansas and Becky Clowers of Madera, California; one brother, Dewayne Shannon of Michigan; three sisters, Delphia Fardello of Whitehouse, Tennessee, Geneva DeRose of Lexington, Kentucky and Reba Cannon of Branson, Missouri; nine grandchildren, Laci and Heather Clowers, Michelle, John Boy Shannon, Scrogg, Katie, RJ, Cassandra Cooper, and Anthony Clowers and four great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Lily was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Clowers; one son, Anthony Allen Clowers; and one brother, Steve Shannon.
I think about you often. I hear your voice at times and wish you were here to see all that I have become. I miss our talks, and all of the fun that we used to have. I hope your singing with the angels Grandma.
