Mrs. Lily Lindsey Hinton, 84, passed away February 18, 2020. She is survived by two daughters, Sherry D. Hinton and First Lady Beverly Davis; three sons, John Hinton Jr., Kirk Hinton, and Kelvin Hinton; twelve grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.

To the family of Sis Lily Hinton, Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal . It was an honor to sit at the piano and listen to songs played and stories told by Sis Hinton. I was only 12 when I would attend Pulliam Chapels' choir rehearsal on Saturdays with my Aunt Haley and Sis Hinton would invite me to rehearse with them, she would always tell me you never know when you might be called on to sing for the Lord. Well I'm sure she's playing for that Heavenly Choir and telling them stories...
