Dear Norm,

In reference to the last two entries in Lily's Guest Book, I was thrilled to see the names of some people I dearly love.

They were at our 200 Club Invitational yesterday in Chula Vista, and I gave Dodo the copy in the Legacy Guest Book. I just knew it had to be the Dodo I knew and loved along with Norika and the rest of the group who told me they have known you most of your life. We miss "Cat", we sure loved him, Dodo does look much better now though, it...

Dear Norman,
On behalf of the Tani family (San Diego), we are deeply saddened to hear of Lily's passing. I know mom missed Lily after you folks moved up north upon your retirement, but she retains many wonderful memories of their daily lunches at the Ikimatsu coffee shop in Plaza Bowl. I am grateful of having to get to know Lily when we bowled together with Auntie Dodo, Mickey, and Kiyo Ochi as the Miyako team at University Lanes (where we took the league championship one year). To...

Norm,
Bob and I were very sad to read of your loss. I have thought fondly of Lily over the years. When we worked together at the Laborers Union we were both very surprised when we found out that you and Bob also worked together at Ryan. Lily was one of the kindest, helpful, sweetest people I have ever met. I am so grateful to have known her. What great memories you must have of such a beautiful lady - I sure do. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Sue Nelson (Bob, too)

Norm, very sad to hear of your loss. My thoughts are with you.

Hi Norm, I just learned about the passing of your wife, Yoneyo. I know how sad this must be. . I just lost my uncle, Noble Shrock who worked for Teledyne Ryan for over 30 years, ( he was the tax CPA, reporting to Honrud).
I have always respected you and am honored to have worked with you. I have wondered where you went after you retired from Ryan. What a beautiful photo of your wife. Our prayers are with you and your family

Dear Norm,

I can't tell you how sorry I was when I read Lily's obituary in the paper this morning. I'm so very sorry for your deep loss. Although I didn't know Lily well, she was always elegant, kind, sweet and a dear lady whenever I had to opportunity be in her company.
Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss and may all of your dear memories of Lily remain with you and comfort you forever.

Sincerely,
Elsie Danner

Hi Norm,
It has now been about 46 years since we were fellow Astro engineers and don't believe I've seen or talked to you since. While it is increasingly sad to experience the passing of old friends like Jessie & Ben Balanag, it is also brings a smile and warm thoughts to think of years past, the fun and fellowship we all shared. I also think of Ben Blaz, Carlos, Fran, Charlie Naverette and others and wonder what happened to them. I spoke with Carlos Y for the last time a few years ago....
