Swartz Funeral Home - Flint Obituary

ANDERMAN, LINDA– Of Flint, age 72, passed away Saturday, August 23, 2025. 


Funeral service will be held at 2pm Saturday, August 30, 2025, at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. Pastor Jim Garfield Sr. officiating.


Visitation will be held at 12pm till the time of service on Saturday, August 30, 2025.


Cremation to follow service. 


Linda was born in Flint, Michigan on September 27, 1952, the daughter of the late Cleo and Marjorie (Lee) VanVolkenburg. 


She married Bruce Anderman on July 16, 1986. 


Linda enjoyed being around family when she wasn’t with her family you could find her watching her favorite shows, General Hospital and Dark Shadows. Linda was a huge David Cassidy fan from the Partridge Family. One of Lindas favorite things was spending time with family over a home cooked meal. 


Surviving are her brother, Timothy VanVolkenburg; sons, Steven (Irena) Anderman and family of Lansing; Robert Allison of Lansing; Michael Allison and family of Flint; daughter Amy Allison and family of Flint; stepson Steven Anderman and family of Owosso; stepdaughters, Sheridan Baldwin and family of Flushing, Tiffany (Michael)Varner of St Louis Missouri. Blessed with many grand and great grandchildren. 


She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Anderman; mother, Marjorie VanVolkenburg, father, Cleo VanVolkenburg, brothers Thomas VanVolkenburg and Terry VanVolkenburg.
