Linda will never be forgotten. I met her doing Meals on Wheels for New York Ave. Pres. Church, and I was immediately impressed with her kindness & graciousness. Then I served on the McClendon Center Board as her Vice President. What a joy to serve with her. Jenean McKay

Linda was a terrific person. She was a joy to work with when she was president of the McClendon Center Board. I learned a lot from her. Much love to all of her family.

I will always remember Linda for her graciousness and for her dedication to the welfare of those with mental illness. I am so greatful that she was my friend.

Linda was an angel! She was President of the McClendon Center, which provides mental health services to DC residents at New York Ave. Presbyterian Church. It was an honor to work with her. She was smart, level-headed, and patient. Her leadership was low-key, but very effective. I loved Linda. Her dedication to those in need was exemplary. Linda and I worked together for several years at AASCU, and I have very fond memories. When I think of her, it is always with a smile on my face. My condolences go out to her family.

I learned a lot from Linda during my time at AASCU. I can't image the pain her family is feeling at this time. But, I hope they take solace in knowing that Linda was loved and will be missed by many.

Linda was a kind friend, a gracious colleague, and a uniquely warm and caring individual. My condolences to her family on their loss.
