I just found out that Linda died. I am so stunned and upset that I didn't know earlier. I'm so glad that we spent time together at the Madison reunion last fall. Linda was one of my first acquaintances in Madison when my family moved there in 1962. My sympathy to all the family.

Linda was my sister-friend. We grew up and older together during the past 25 years. She was a gracious, patient, and dedicated Mother and Grandmother. Her wisdom and positive, "take it as it comes" attitude inspired many. She will be sorely missed.

I was lucky to know Linda through my work at Civic Theatre. Linda was always a ray of light in any cast. She was extraordinarily kind and I loved being around her. I am so sorry for your, for our, loss. She will be greatly missed.

To Linda's daughters I send my sorrow on the loss of your beloved Mother. I have known Linda for many decades as a colleague and hope you know how respected and revered she was. May your memories comfort you in the days ahead.

Linda and I served on a College Committee together for almost ten years. What I appreciated about her participation was her calm, rational discussion, her ability to make everyone feel included in the discussion, and her willingness to consider the opinions of others. I miss the calm she provided in a hectic world.
