Linda Faye Blankenship

BLANKENSHIP, LINDA FAYE – At 75 years old passed away at Hurley Hospital on Wednesday September 21,2022.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, September 26, 2022 at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Kyle Bailey officiating.

Burial in Flint Memorial Park.

Visitation 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Sunday and 11 a.m. Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Linda was born on September 11, 1947 to Jimmie & Margaret Branton in Columbus, Georgia.

She was married to Fred Eugene Blankenship since July 21, 2014.

Linda worked and retired from General Motors. She loved her husband Fred and her family very much and especially her 2 Chihuahuas that she always spoiled.

She is preceded in death by both of her parents, Jimmie C. Branton and Margaret Branton, a brother, Jimmie R. Branton, and her daughter, Tammy Chiodini.

Linda is survived by her husband, Fred E. Blankenship, step-daughter, Nicole (Roberto) Rodriguez, her brother, Steve Branton, her best friend of over 40 years, Marsha Sukup; several grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
