Though we've been out of touch for many years, I have always had a great deal of affection for and admiration of Linda. She was so kind and generous and had so many other outstanding qualities that are so rare today. Holiday Party 2006 Central Park Zone Gardeners

Linda was our beloved fellow volunteer gardener in Central Park. After today's beautiful memorial service in the park, our group wanted to share a photo memory of the precious time we spent with Linda. The attached photo is from our holiday party in 2006. Her memory will forever be a blessing.

Like many others, I am shocked and in total disbelief in hearing of your loss. I had no idea that she was ill, since we had not corresponded in a while. I was always so in awe of how positive and cheerful she was. She was simply a delight to know. I knew Linda since jr. high (217) in Briarwood, Queens, as well as Jamaica High. I last saw Linda in Manhattan in October 2004, just prior to the 40th Jamaica anniversary reunion. We had a lovely lunch and we stayed in touch, I was living in L.A....
