Linda Lou Hartle Brady of Crawfordsville passed away Thursday afternoon at Greenfield Healthcare at the age of 70.

Linda was a cashier for many years before adopting her two children and becoming a stay-at-home mom to them 25 years ago.  She enjoyed reading, baking, and cooking.  Most of all, she loved her family and spending time with her grandkids.

Born Nov. 22, 1955 in Crawfordsville, she was the daughter of Carl L. Hartle and Sue Peterman Hartle.  She attended school at Waveland and Southmont.  She married Charles “Chuck” Brady on Oct. 3, 1994 and he passed away May 25, 2013.

Surviving family includes: son, Cole Brady; daughter, Whitney Brady; step-sons, Brian Brady Chris Brady and step-daughters, Lynn Pickering and Laura Farote, along with several grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Scott Hartle.

Visitation will begin at Noon on Wednesday, Feb. 25th at Burkhart Funeral Home and a service for Linda will begin at 1 PM led by her family.  After the service, she will be laid to rest beside Chuck at Oak Hill Cemetery South.
