Not sure what to say?

January 2025 - It's hard to believe that Linda moved to the other side 5 years ago this month. I think of her often (and her photo appears daily in our digital photo frame at home). I always think of her at Halloween as she always sent me candy corn (my favorite). I can still hear her laughter and see her smile. She's forever in my heart. Rob Gutro

Just having heard of Linda's passing over 2 years ago as I was hoping to find her and reminisce about all the work we put in on the Natural Resource Damage Assessment and Restoration regulations following the T/V Exxon Valdez oil spill and the development of the Oil Pollution Act. Working with Linda and all the energy she brought to the environmental project was some of the best time of my entire Federal career...and what an amazing person. Miss you Linda!!

This week marks 2 years you've been on the other side, Linda. I can still hear your laugh and see your eyes and your smile. Every time we go to Panera bread for lunch, I feel you with us- just as we liked to meet you there after you retired. I'm drinking a cup of coffee and reading a mystery novel in your memory. Love and miss you!

1-15-21 - It's difficult to believe it's been a year since my friend Linda passed. We shared decades of good memories and laughs. In the last couple of years before she passed, my husband and I would meet her for her favorite soup at Panera Bread, and every time I've visited a Panera Bread (often) I think of Linda and imagine her sitting at a table waiting for us. I know she is! Miss you, Linda. xox

I miss having you around for advice. I think of you often. Nancy

Linda was a great mentor and has passed on a lasting legacy of pollution cleanup and restoration. She is an environmental hero and will be sorely missed.

Linda was one of the first people that I got to know in the field of damage assessment. She remained a good friend and colleague. She had a great sense of humor and a tremendous mind. She will be missed by all of us.

I had the pleasure of working with Linda and secretly saw her as a role model. She is missed.

Linda was a seasoned pro when I began my federal career working oil spill and hazardous waste cases. I am fortunate to have learned from her and to have worked beside her, literally and figuratively, throughout my career. Linda lead by example and taught me to appreciate and look out for those in support positions. May who ever inherited her favorite candy dispenser, a tanned bull scrotum, enjoy it with as much mirth as Linda.
