Linda Carter is missed ... her energy and zest for life is missed. Grateful from my many contacts with her and miss her! Blessings to the many people whose lives she touched.

Tis not possible that it has been almost a year since Linda has not been with us. Her zest for life and creative energy is missed ... I miss her and her friendship. Rest in peace ...

I remember playing in the Cass Tech Orchestra with Linda. We later connected at the University of Michigan with other Cass Alumni. She was a beautiful talented person, may she rest in peace.

Really quite amazing that Linda continues to be remembered across these many days - seems to reflect HER and her magnetic energy to connect with people. She touched and impacted so many of us who worked with her and learned from her. The Ann Arbor Schools benefited in so many ways by her dedication and commitment to education. Blessings for a life well lived, Linda.

Ms Carter, You will truly be missed by so many people. I remember the first day that we met at Forsythe Jr Hi and you told me not to let my first name get me in trouble. I will miss seeing you and the grocery and dollar tree and talking about the good old days.

"Carter" will be missed. My memories of Linda are of warmth and support whether I was a parent representative, a teacher in Ann Arbor schools, serving in union work, or enjoying a lunch with her at a retirement meeting. We were fortunate to have been regarded as one of her "peeps." Lynne Gulick

Lynda Carter was the quintessential role model for me as well as so many other African-American students at the University of Michigan! If you want to know the definition of inspiration, motivation, positive spirit, brilliant, and love, then look up the word greatness, and when you turn to the virtual dictionary, you will see a beautiful picture of Linda Carter! Dearest Carter Family I am so sorry for your loss! However, Daryl your big sister gave her life for the development of ...

What a gift Ms Carter was to our family. Very knowledgeable and quick thinking. Very grateful for her sharing her love of music with our daughter Kate. Yes, she was so happy playing the cello with her we kept having to rent vans to take it on our school breaks to see grandma in Florida.

I broke both my ankles one year in a fall and demanded that I be allowed to teach as a handicapped person. I remember Linda bringing me African violets and telling me that I was an honorary member because of my commitment to teaching. She always lifted my spirits. I think we benefit to this day from the healthcare battles she fought.
