Not sure what to say?

Dear Rick and Michael,

I just heard today of Linda's passing and am still in shock. I miss her so much, as I know you do, too. Her smile, her intelligence, her love of life, her love of God and other people, her honesty...and yes, she was a killer cook, too. The only thing that consoles me in this is the belief is that she is now in heaven. She is in a better place...but earth is the worse for the loss. With deepest sympathy and prayers,

Rick and Michael: I want to express my sympathy to you on the death of your mom, Linda. I knew her in the "old days" of Briarwood as I worked in the church office and she was always a bright spot in my day when she came by or called. She also "did my colors" and my daughter's, and it has been helpful to us ever since! I remember being at your home that day and looking out the back window on the concrete circle which I thought was a great place to ride a tricycle! I know she is with the Lord...

Ric and Michael ~ I first met your Mom over 30 years ago - she and I did a Christian Women's Club Bible study together in her home. I cannot tell you how sorry I was to hear of her homegoing ~ great for her ('cause she's with Jesus now, I know that for a fact!!), but sad for those of us who knew and loved her!! She had a killer grin - would light up any room she was in!! - and was a fantastic cook!! She adored the two of you, and I am sure is requesting all sorts of blessings for each of you...
