Read MoreI met Linda when I worked for Ozark airlines back in 1962. She was in the same apartment building and lived with her mom. She always had time to visit. She helped me make and send a red velvet cake to my then boyfriend and husband of 50 years. I know she is with the Lord. I will always remember her.

I'll never forget the day Linda called after my husband died. She could tell I wasn't handling things very well and she just listened. For four hours. A finer, more caring person has never lived. My sincere sympathy to Bill and her family.

I am so sorry to hear about Linda. She was a wonderful person who was caring, thoughtful and always there for everyone. I know she will be missed by all. I will miss her Christmas letters giving details of her boys and all her grandkids. She was so proud of her family and of course her love for Bill. Jack and Kay Summers
