Linda Ellett

I'm sorry my wife & I largely fell out of touch with the Tile Works team in recent years. I remember back to the early days when we were all much younger in Albany. Here's a photo of Linda at a street fair on Lark Street in Albany, probably 1982.

Linda - Rest in peace! You were a great person with a heart of gold! Both you and Don were huge supporters of your son and the arts, for that many people benefited.

Don - I learned about your wife's recent passing through Peter Grimm and Facebook. Peter is a good friend of ours. To say it is a very sad milestone is an understatement. It's hard to imagine what a great loss this is. Please accept my sincere condolences. I'm not sure if I ever met Linda but you certainly talked about her during your visits to my office. You gave us one of her tiles mounted in a wood frame with pegs on which to hang keys. We've used that beautiful gift ever since. ...

It's still so hard to believe that Linda is really gone. Gosh what a huge loss to the family and community. And to realize she followed in the steps of two generations as a self made artist! Her legacy and name will live on through all her handmade tiles. Mike has many memories of growing up among the Ellett family. Being an only child, he felt their love and acceptance among the six kids. Our deepest condolences to Don, Harry and her family.

Nancy and family - I was so saddened to read of the loss of your sister Linda. It has been many years since we have seen each other, but I have many fond memories of the entire Ellett family. Praying for Linda's soul; peace and comfort to each of you.

I met Linda and Don through the BSpa Troupe theater group when Harry joined. Her smile and positive outlook were a blessing. The kids enjoyed working with Don and her.
