Linda was a very special friend during our years at Immanuel UMC in Annandale, VA. She drove to Annandale from Roanoke just to say goodbye to me on my last Sunday before moving to Texas in 2012 and turned around and made the 5 hour trip home. As she was leaving and we walked down the hall from the choir room she told me she was in love and so very happy to have reconnected with an old boyfriend, Pat Farrell. She loved her work with children. My condolences to her family.
